It appearing to the Court from the sworn petition or affidavit filed in this cause that the whereabouts of the Defendant, TERESA JEAN MAXWELL, are presently unknown and cannot be ascertained upon diligent inquiry, so that or- dinary process cannot be served upon her. Therefore, this Order of Publication should be published in The McKenzie Banner newspaper located in McKenize, CARROLL County, Tennessee, as the best possible notice to the Defendant under the circumstances. Defendant, TERESA JEAN MAXWELL, is hereby required to appear and file an answer with the Clerk and Master of the CARROLL County Chancery Court, CARROLL County Courthouse, 22 Main Street, Huntingdon, Tennes- see, or otherwise defend against the Complaint for Divorce, and to serve an answer to said petition by January 27, 2022, which is thirty (30) days from the last day of publication of this notice, and send a copy of said answer to Howard F. Douglass, Attorney for Plaintiff in this cause, whose address is 42 South Main Street, Lexington, Tennessee, 38351, or default judgment will be entered against the Defendant, TERESA JEAN MAXWELL, and this cause set for hearing in the Chancery Court of CARROLL County, Tennessee, sitting in the CARROLL County Courthouse in Huntingdon, Tennessee, ex parte as to Defendant, TERESA JEAN MAXWELL. lf there is no answer, a hearing on Plaintiffs’ motion for default shall be heard on February 3, 2022 at 9 a.m. Failure to answer or appear may result in granting a divorce to the Plaintiff.
