The Lady Lions led by 28 after three quarters but had to hold off an explosive Lady Bulldog rally to claim a 63-48 win. The Lions led by three at the half, but the Bulldogs were dominant down the stretch to earn a 61-44 victory.

GLEASON (September 26) — For a third straight game, Gleason’s football team was playing without the services of injured quarterback Drake Lehmkuhl. The Homecoming game was moved from the traditional Friday night to Thursday in anticipation of heavy rains on Friday as remnants of Hurricane Helene, that devastated the southeast with wind and rain.
