City of McKenzie - Ward 2 Council Seat Available

CITY OF McKENZIE WARD 2 COUNCIL SEAT AVAILABLE A1/4-2 The City of McKenzie will be accepting resumes from interested applicants for the Ward 2 Council seat which is currently vacant. Interested persons in Ward 2 should submit a resume and a letter to the City Council which explains their interest in the position and how their service can benefit the City of McKenzie. Requirements for the position include: attending the regularly scheduled council meetings, workshops, and called meetings. Completing the newly elected officials’ academy during the 1st year. Completing 12 hours of the Water Commission Training (TN state mandate) during the 1st year, and continuing education trainings each year. The applicants will be voted on at the February 10th City Council Meeting, and will be sworn in at the March 10th Meeting.
