Any elderly voter (60 years of age or older) or a voter with a disability, whose polling place is not accessible, may choose to vote early or at the Carroll County Election Commission office on Election Day. If the voter chooses to vote at the election office on Election Day, the voter must complete an affidavit (in the election office) not later than NOON, April 23, 2022, stating that the voter’s designated voting location does not comply with the provisions of Public Law 98-435 of the 98th Congress. As an alternative to voting at the election office on Election Day, the voter may vote by absentee ballot or during the Early Voting period. Note - if the voter registered to vote by mail, the voter must vote in-person in the first election in which the voter votes. To apply for an absentee ballot, the voter must make a request no later than April 26, 2022. Requests must be mailed to the Carroll County Election Commission, 625 High Street, Suite 113, Huntingdon, TN 38344.
