City of McKenzie will be accepting statement of qualifi cations from qualifi ed fi rms for the following: ARCHITECTURAL and ENGINEERING Services in connection with its Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Fund (SLFRF) of the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) and Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation (8:40 AMDEC) ARPA. Proposals must be received by offi ce of the City Mayor by 2 p.m. CST on Friday, June 3, 2022. Proposals should be submitted to Jill Holland, City Mayor, 2470 Cedar Street, McKenzie, TN 38201 no later than 2 p.m. CST on June 3, 2022. Proposals received after 2 p.m. on June 3, 2022 will not be considered. The A/E fi rm will assist in the design, the development of engineering and architectural reports, plans, specifi cations and bid documents; and on-site inspection of the construction activities and any other Architectural/Engineering Services as may be required during the program timeframe. All proposals should be marked with the following language: ARCHITECTURAL and ENGINEERING SERVICES STATEMENT OF QUALIFICATIONS FOR MCKENZIE, TN. ARPA AND TDEC ARPA FUNDS. Qualifi cations will be evaluated on the following factors: • Specified experience or technical expertise of the firm in connection with the type of services to be provided. • Past record of performance on contracts with the community and other clients including qualify of work, timeliness, and cost control. • Capacity of firm to perform the work within time limitations, taking into consideration the current and planned workload of the firm. To be evaluated properly, the following must be addressed in detail: • Qualifi cations — Availability of qualifi ed personnel and capacity of the fi rm to carry-out professional engineering services. • Experience — Experience and technical expertise of the fi rm and its personnel as well as information regarding projects previously undertaken, including the types and cost of projects. • Scope of Services — Summarize scope and type of services understanding of the program and tasks.
