Carroll County is seeking bids for moving a 180-foot self-supporting tower from the Carroll County Jail to Westport. To be included in your bid will be a mat foundation 18-foot square by 4-foot-deep and includes new anchor bolts, concrete, re-bar, forms and excavation. After foundation is installed all antennas and coax will be removed from tower at the jail and tower will be taken down, disassembled and transported to the new site where it will be reassembled and erected back to the 180-foot level. At that time, you will install two antennas, two dishes, coax and cat 5 cables on the tower provided by Carroll County.
