An elderly voter (60 years of age or older) or a voter with a disability, whose polling place is not accessible, may choose to come to the County Election Commission offi ce to vote either during the Early Voting period, on Election Day by appointment , or absentee by mail. If the voter chooses to vote at the election offi ce on Election Day, the voter must provide the election offi ce with written notice by April 27, 2026, of his/her intention. If the voter registered by mail, (s)he must vote in-person in the fi rst election in which the voter votes. To request an absentee ballot, the voter must do so by April 25, 2026, in the Carroll County Election Commission Offi ce. ON ELECTION DAY AT YOUR PRECINCT, A FEDERAL OR TENNESSEE STATE PHOTO ID IS REQUIRED TO VOTE. THE SAME APPLIES IN THE ELECTION OFFICE DURING EARLY VOTING. Early Voting will be April 15-30, 2026 . Voting hours are 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday-Friday. Hours on Saturdays, during the Early Voting period, are 9 a.m.-noon. All voters are eligible to vote early.
