Notice to Family & Friends of Nursing Home

Residents of a nursing home or assisted living facility, who are registered to vote, may still be eligible to vote. For the General Election, November 8, 2022, Election Offi cials will go to each facility where the facility administrator has provided the Election Offi ce a list of residents who want to vote. The deadline for the Election Offi ce to receive the list of voters is October 5, 2022. If the voting lists are received in the Election Offi ce by the deadline, nursing home and assisted living voting will be conducted on October 12th for AHC-Huntingdon, Harmony Hill, and Life Care Center-Bruceton; then, on October 13th for AHC-McKenzie and The Waters-McKenzie. If a loved one wants to vote, in one of these facilities, please contact the facility administrator. Request that your loved one be allowed to vote by turning in his/her name to the Election Offi ce by the deadline. The last day to register to vote for the November election is October 11, 2022.
