Carroll County is seeking bidders to submit proposals for the project described in this document. Project Title: Carroll County Civic Center Commercial Kitchen Project Location: Carroll County Civic Center, 201 Mustang Dr., Huntingdon, TN 38344 Funding Agency: State of Tennessee, Department of Agriculture Grant Contract Amount: $100,000 Please notice that the Carroll County Mayors Office shall accept sealed written bids for the construction of a commercial kitchen at the Carroll County Civic Center. Proposals, bids, or responses must be submitted to the Offi ce of the Carroll County Mayor, Joseph G. Butler, at 625 High St. Suite 101, Carroll County Offi ce Complex, Huntingdon, Tennessee, 38344, no later than 10 a.m. CST, March 26, 2026, at which time the bids will be opened and considered at a public meeting of the Purchasing Committee. Proposals will be received for the furnishing and installation of commercial grade kitchen equipment . All bidders must submit a full proposal for scoring. Proposals shall include: a. Layout for 25’ x 19’ commercial kitchen. b. List of equipment, supplies included. a. All equipment shall be new, commercial grade, NSF approved (where applicable) , and compliant with Tennessee Health Department standards and local fire codes . b. Equipment to consider, but not limited to: cooking equipment, refrigeration equipment, work surfaces, food preparation equipment, dishwashing equipment, storage systems and/or cabinets, ventilation and fire suppression, miscellaneous kitchen fi xtures and furnishings. c. The successful bidder shall provide costs and expectations for all labor, materials, delivery, installation, setup, warranty, testing, and operational instructions of commercial kitchen equipment. d. Total bid price. e. Timeline for completion. The Contract will be awarded to the highest scoring proposal complying with the conditions of the advertisement, provided the bid is reasonable and it is to the best interest of the Owner, at the earliest practicable date. The Owner, however, reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to waive any informality in Bids received whenever such rejection or waiver is in the interest of the Owner.
