POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT INDUSTRIAL MAINTENANCE INTEGRATED AUTOMATION TECHNOLOGY INSTRUCTOR The Tennessee College of Applied Technology McKenzie is accepng applicaons for a full-me Industrial Maintenance Integrated Automaon Instructor in McKenzie. Minimum Qualificaons:  High school diploma or equivalent. Technical Diploma or Associate Degree in Industrial Maintenance or related field required. Cerficaons in the maintenance field a plus.  Minimum of 3 to 5 years successful work experience in the Industrial Maintenance field.  Evidence of potenal ability in instrucon. Prior teaching experience preferred.  Evidence of proficiency in oral and wrien communicaon skills.Possess the ability to troubleshoot common and specific hardware/soware issues General Dues:  Teach all phases of Industrial Maintenance Integrated Automaon Technology and manage rotaon of students that includes instrucon in mechanical maintenance, hydraulic systems, gearboxes, electric motors, predicve and preventave maintenance, variable frequency drives, electronics, motor control and fluid power, PLC’s, robocs, commercial/ residenal wiring and welding.  Assist in recruitment and job placement of students.  Must be willing to remain current in the field by parcipang in professional development acvies.  Monitor, grade, and evaluate individual students’ progress.  Maintain appropriate records and submit mely reports.  Maintain good public relaons with business and industry.  Possess the communicaon/computer skills necessary to be an effecve instructor.  Show evidence of good character, organizaonal skills and mature atude.  Parcipate in facility maintenance. Salary: Commensurate with educaon and experience and in accordance with the guidelines established by the Tennessee Board of Regents.
