Notice of Public Hearings - McKenzie Zoning Ordinance

Pursuant to Tennessee Code Annotated, Section 13-7-203, notice is hereby given of two (2) public hearings that will be held by the McKenzie Board of Mayor and Council on Thursday, March 9, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. in the McKenzie Municipal Center. The hearings are being held in order to receive public input regarding the following proposed amendments to the Zoning Ordinance of McKenzie, Tennessee: 1) AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHAPTER 4, GENERAL PROVISIONS, OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF MCKENZIE, TENNESSEE BY AMEND- ING ADDING A NEW SECTION 11-421 “ACCESSORY STRUCTURES & USES; 2) AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE TEXT OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF MCKENZIE, TENNESSEE BY AMENDING CHAPTER 9, PROVISIONS GOVERNING INDUSTRIAL DISTRICTS, SECTION 11-902, M-2 (HEAVY INDUSTRIAL) DISTRICTS, NUMBER (1) USES PERMITTED, LETTER (a) BE AMENDED TO INCLUDE LANGUAGE FOR GENERAL MERCHANDISE Full copies of the proposed amendments may be viewed in McKenzie Mu- nicipal Center during normal business hours.
