The City of McKenzie is accepting application for a backhoe operator. Candidate must be 18 years of age, possess a valid driver’s license, high school diploma or its equivalent and pass the pre-employment drug screen. Applications will be accepted at city hall until 4 p.m. on February 5 • 5 years experience on backhoe is a plus. • Applicant is also expected to work on the crew, so must be able to perform manual labor, stooping, bending twisting and lifting heavy weight at times. • Job consist of learning to maintain and repair water lines, fi re hydrants and related equipment. Install water pipe and make repairs to water lines. • Participate on emergency call out when needed for water line/ water main breaks. • The City offers excellent benefits and retirement through TCRS.
