Request for Bids - Carroll County Airport

A13/34-2 Scope This bid request is for a hangar roof replacement at the Carroll County Airport through Carroll County Government. The principal representative of the eventually chosen fi rm or organization is expected to provide these items and services to the Carroll County Airport. Communications for this project shall be between a designated member of the fi rm or organization chosen, Carroll County Airport Manager Tommy Swor, and Carroll County Mayor, Joseph G. Butler - (731) 986-1936. Carroll County Airport box hangar roof replacement specifi cations and bid expectations: • Remove and haul off • Existing painted roof metal, skylights, ridge cap, and other materials • New installation • 26-gauge PBR galvalume roof panels with 25-year warranty • 26-gauge r-panel profi le ridge cap • New insulation where skylights are/were • 3/4” tape mastic for panel laps and trim • ZAC roof screws • Inside and outside foam closures for existing trim, rake, and eve • Two (2) 3’ X 5’ walk door canopies • Other necessary items and materials • All required labor and material costs Licensing The Proposer shall provide proof that they are licensed and authorized to conduct business in Tennessee. Proof of relevant certifi cations and required insurance shall be submitted by chosen fi rm. Requirements Submittals must include two (2) hard copies of the respective bid and one (1) digital copy (in PDF format). Condition of Acceptance by Carroll County Carroll County reserves the right to waive any informality, the right to accept or reject any or all bids, and negotiate minor points with the successful bidder. This request does not commit Carroll County to award a contract, to pay any costs incurred in the preparation of a submittal for this request, or to procure a contract for items or services. Carroll County reserves the right to accept or reject any or all submittals received as a result of this request, negotiate with any qualifi ed source, or cancel this request in part or whole.
