Carroll County Electric Department - COVID-19 Community Care Fund

Carroll County Electric Department has partnered with TVA’s Community Care Fund and Huntingdon Ministerial Alliance for COVID-19 assistance. TVA has provided a matching fund of $10,000. Local Businesses, Industries, Organizations and individuals donated the money to provide the $10,000 match. We now have over $20,000 that will be available to help CCED customers affected by the COVID-19 Pandemic. These funds will be distributed by the local Project Help. The list of local businesses, Industries, Organizations and Individuals that graciously made these donations include Centennial Bank, Apex Bank, Tosh Farms, Telephone Electronic Corp (TEC), McKenzie Banking Company, Cutting Specialists Inc. (CSI), Citizens Bank & Trust Company, Carroll County Chamber of Commerce, McKenzie Rotary Club, Carroll County Electric Department & Board Members, Espey Gin, Huntingdon Termite & Pest (HTP), Carroll Bank & Trust, First Bank, Huntingdon Insurance Agency, Peppers of McKenzie and Jerry & Martha Neal. If anyone would like to make an additional donation to this fund, you can do so at the Carroll County Electric Department. Customers seeking help on their Carroll County Electric Department Bills, must complete an application. To qualify customers must have been affected by loss of job or income as a result of the COVID-19 Pandemic. The maximum amount will be a 1 time amount up to $500 to pay 1 current or 1 past due electric bill. If you think you qualify, contact Melissa at Carroll County Electric Dept. (731) 986-8284.
