Box 160, McKenzie, TN 38201 Separate sealed Bids for the construction of the City of McKenzie TN 2019 Sewer System Rehabilitations consisting of approximately 3,600 LF of 8 & 10 inch cured-in-Place pipe lining, 18 point repairs, 48 service renewals, rehabilitation of 20 manholes and all related work as specified and shown on the Drawings in accordance with the Plans and Specifications will be received by the City of McKenzie at their office located at 2470 Cedar Street, McKenzie, TN 38201 until Thursday, September 3, 2020 at 11 a.m. (Local Time), Central Time Zone, and then at said office opened and publicly read aloud. The allotted time for construction is 120 calendar days. Bids from anyone not on the Engineer’s Plan Holders List will not be opened. The owner reserves the right to waive any informalities and to reject any or all bids. Each bidder must deposit with his bid, security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. All bidders must be licensed General Contractors as required by the Contractor’s Licensing Act of 1994 of the General Assembly of the State of Tennessee, and qualified for the type of construction being bid upon. Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the contract, Section 3, Segregated Facility, Section 109 and E.O. 11246.
