The City of McKenzie is requesting sealed bids for two (2) separate roofi ng jobs from qualifi ed fi rms to: (1) Remove, replace & repair decking on shingled roof and fl at roof for the City Municipal Building located 2470 Cedar St., McKenzie, TN 38201, and (2) Remove, replace & repair decking on shingled roof on the Farmers Market building, 2431 Cedar Street, McKenzie, TN 38201 Both bids are due by 4 p.m. on Friday, September 18, 2020. Bid packet can be picked up at the City Hall or sent electronically by contacting Jennifer Waldrup at 731-352-2292. Only roof contractors that have been in business for fi ve (5) years or more will be considered. The work involved with the project shall include, but may not be limited to, the furnishing of all labor, materials, tools, equipment, machinery, superintendence and services necessary to complete in place construction of the project. Licensed, bonded and Certificate of Insurance required. No person seeking to do business with the City of McKenzie shall on the grounds of race, color or national origin be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefi ts, of, or be subject to discrimination under any program or activity receiving federal fi nancial assistance.
