Box 160, McKenzie, TN 38201 Separate sealed Bids for the construction of the City of McKenzie TN 2022 Sewer System Rehabilitations Contract B – Sewer Lines consisting of CIPP, pipe bursting, point repairs, manhole repair, and all related work as specifi ed and shown on the Drawings in accor- dance with the Plans and Specifi cations will be received by the City of McKenzie at their offi ce located at 2470 Cedar Street, McKenzie, TN 38201 until Thursday, December 7, 2023 at 11:00 AM (Local Time), Central Time Zone, and then at said offi ce opened and pub- licly read aloud. The allotted time for construction is 120 calendar days. The CONTRACT DOCUMENTS, consisting of Information to Bidders, Bid, Bid Bond, Agreement, Performance Bond, Payment Bond, Spec- ifi cations, Plans, and other contract documents may be examined at the following locations: City of McKenzie City Hall 2470 Cedar Street McKenzie, TN 38201 Copies of the CONTRACT DOCUMENTS MUST be obtained at the offi ce of GRW Engineers Inc., located at 404 BNA Drive, Suite 201, Nashville, TN 37217, upon payment of $160.00 for each set which includes a hard copy and a digital copy. Digital copies of the bidding documents are available for Subcontractors and Manufacturers for $50.00. Payment is not refundable. Bids from anyone not on the Engineer’s Plan Holders List will not be opened. Anyone bid- ding the project must purchase a complete set of documents from the Engineer. The owner reserves the right to waive any informalities and to reject any or all bids. Each bidder must deposit with his bid, security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. All bidders must be licensed General Contractors as required by the Contractor's Licensing Act of 1994 of the General Assembly of the State of Tennessee and qualifi ed for the type of construction being bid upon. Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the contract, Section 3, Segregated Facility, Section 109 and E.O. 11246. No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of sixty (60) days after closing time scheduled for the receipt of bids.
