City of McKenzie Hiring Backhoe Operator

CITY OF McKENZIE ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS Backhoe Operator A1/2-2 The City of McKenzie is accepting applications for a backhoe operator. Candidate must be 18 years of age, possess a valid driver’s license, high school diploma or its equivalent and pass the pre-employment drug screen. Applications will be accepted at city hall until 4 p.m. on January 22. • Pay based on backhoe experience. • Applicant is also expected to work on the crew, so must be able to perform manual labor, stooping, bending twisting and lifting heavy weight at times. • Job consist of learning to maintain and repair water lines, fi re hydrants and related equipment. Install water pipe and make repairs to water lines. • Participate on emergency call out when needed for water line/water main breaks. • The City offers excellent benefits and retirement through TCRS.
