TCAT - Hiring Vice President

POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT VICE PRESIDENT The Tennessee College of Applied Technology-McKenzie is accepng applicaons for the posion of Vice President. The Vice President reports directly to the President of TCAT-Paris/McKenzie. This is a full-me posion with paid holidays and benefits package. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS  Master’s degree from an accredited instuon required.  Minimum of fi ve (5) years of administrave experience in or with a post- secondary educaon instuon with decision-making responsibilies.  Demonstrated abilies in leadership, human relaons, communica on skills (wrien and verbal), and organizaonal skills.  Teaching experience with knowledge of instruconal techniques and processes, preferred.  Evidence of strong work ethic as it relates to meliness of reporng, oversight of mulple on-going projects, and the ability to work with industry/employers.  Proficient computer skills and working knowledge of network systems; knowledge of student informaon management systems desired.  Experience with grant wring and grant management desired.  Curriculum and program development experience desired.  Ability to establish and maintain relaonships with mulple local businesses, employers, industry, workforce development agencies, secondary and post-secondary instuons. GENERAL DUTIES:  Provide execuve leadership in the absence of the President.  Assists the President in planning, organizing, coordinang, markeng and direcng the instuonal programs and in-service acvies.  Assists in supervision of instruconal programs at extension campuses, planning and implementaon of addional satellite campuses, including on-site training in area businesses.  Assists in preparing and/or reviewing various reports as assigned.  Assists with organizing and overseeing all phases of operaons including, but not limited to: purchasing, inventory management, and other dues as assigned by the President.  Assists in coordinang with business and industry to develop special training opportunies.  Assists in student conduct, aendance and academic maers when needed by interacng with the student populaon in maers of counseling, movaonal programs and due process.  Supervises and evaluates assigned staff, faculty and their programs.  Assists in curriculum development.  Assists in the preparaon of budgets and the financial operaons of all programs.  Assists in wring grant proposals and managing grant funds.  Assists in conducng New Employee Orientaon for all faculty and staff.  Serve as Title VI and Title IX officer.  Performs all other dues as assigned by the President. SALARY: Commensurate with experience, educaon and training according to Tennessee Colleges of Applied Technology salary guidelines.
