ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Project No. 3849-13 City of McKenzie TN 2470 Cedar Street, P.O. Box 160 McKenzie, TN 38201 Separate sealed Bids for the construction of the City of McKenzie TN 2022 Sewer System Rehabilitation Contract B – Sewer Lines consist- ing of approximately 240 LF of pipe bursting, smoke testing, service reconnections, and all related work as specified and shown on the Drawings in accordance with the Plans and Specifications will be re- ceived by the City of McKenzie at their office located at 2470 Cedar Street, McKenzie, TN 38201 until March 13, 2024 at 11 A.M. (Local Time), Central Time Zone, and then at said office opened and publicly read aloud. The allotted time for construction is 120 calendar days. The CONTRACT DOCUMENTS, consisting of Information to Bidders, Bid, Bid Bond, Agreement, Performance Bond, Payment Bond, Spec- ifi cations, Plans, and other contract documents may be examined at the following locations: City of McKenzie - City Hall, 2470 Cedar Street, McKenzie, TN 38201 Builders Exchange TN - 301 S. Perimeter Park Dr., Suite 100, Office 9, Nashville, TN 37211 West TN Plan Room - 439 Airways Blvd., Jackson, TN 38301 GRW Engineers, Inc. - 404 BNA Drive, Suite 201, Nashville, TN 37217 Copies of the CONTRACT DOCUMENTS MUST be obtained at the office of GRW Engineers Inc., located at 404 BNA Drive, Suite 201, Nashville, TN 37217, upon payment of $160 for each set which in- cludes a hard copy and a digital copy. Digital copies of the bidding documents are available for Subcontractors and Manufacturers for $50. Payment is not refundable. Bids from anyone not on the En- gineer’s Plan Holders List will not be opened. Anyone bidding the project must purchase a complete set of documents from the Engineer. The owner reserves the right to waive any informalities and to reject any or all bids. Each bidder must deposit with his bid, security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. All bidders must be licensed General Contractors as required by the Contractor's Licensing Act of 1994 of the General Assembly of the State of Tennessee and qualified for the type of construction being bid upon. Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the contract, Section 3, Segregated Facility, Section 109 and E.O. 11246.
