Please be advised that a vacancy has occurred in the Carroll County Legislative Body. County Commissioner Brian Winston has resigned, effective December 11, 2020, leaving a vacant seat in County Commission District 8. The Carroll County Legislative Body will fill the vacant seat at its regular monthly meeting scheduled on January 11, 2021, at 7 p.m. at the Carroll County Civic Center. Any registered voter of Carroll County residing in District 8 may submit their name for consideration to Carroll County Mayor, Joseph G. Butler (625 High St Suite 101, Huntingdon, TN 38344) in writing, have another County Commissioner nominate them at the regularly schedule meeting, or may appear in person at the regularly scheduled meeting to nominate themselves.
