NOTICE OF INTENT TO SELL TRACTS OF LAND BOUGHT BY CARROLL COUNTY AT DELINQUENT TAX SALES In accordance with T.C.A. 67-5-2507 (b) (1), the County Mayor has received an offer for the total amount of taxes, penalty, interest and cost on the following parcel of land bought by Carroll County at Delinquent Tax Sales. The deed on this parcel shall not be executed and will not become fi nal until ten (10) days after the publication in a newspaper in the county of the proposed sale. If anyone, during the ten (10) days, shall increase the offer made for the land by ten percent (10%) or more, the party making the fi rst offer shall be notifi ed and a day fi xed when both parties shall appear and make offers. To increase the offer by ten percent (10%) or more, contact the Carroll County Mayor’s Office, 625 High Street, Suite 101, Huntingdon, TN 38344. If the original offer is raised by ten percent (10%) or more, the two parties shall appear on a day fi xed and the tract of land shall be sold to the party making the highest and best offer. Conveyances of land shall be made without warranties of any sort, and deeds shall be executed by the County Mayor of Carroll County and the County Trustee, who shall collect the purchase price at the time of the execution of deed.
