Box 160, McKenzie, TN 38201 Separate sealed Bids for the construction of the City of McKenzie TN 2022 Collection System Improvements Pump Stations consisting of the replacement of the David Street and Cole Street sewer pump stations and all related work as specified and shown on the Drawings in accordance with the Plans and Specifications will be received by the City of McKenzie at their office located at 2470 Cedar Street, McKenzie, TN 38201 until Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at 11 a.m. (Local Time), Eastern Time Zone, and then at said office opened and publicly read aloud. The allotted time for construction is *120 calendar days. The CONTRACT DOCUMENTS, consisting of Information to Bidders, Bid, Bid Bond, Agreement, Performance Bond, Payment Bond, Specifi cations, Plans, and other contract documents may be examined at the following locations: City of McKenzie, City Hall, 2470 Cedar Street, McKenzie, TN 38201 Builders Exchange TN, 301 S. Perimeter Park Dr., Suite 100, Offi ce 9, Nashville, TN 37211 West TN Plan Room, 439 Airways Blvd., Jackson, TN 38301 GRW Engineers, Inc., 404 BNA Drive, Suite 201, Nashville, TN 37217 Copies of the CONTRACT DOCUMENTS MUST be obtained at the offi ce of GRW Engineers Inc., located at 404 BNA Drive, Suite 201, Nashville, TN 37217, upon payment of $140 for each set. Digital copies of the bidding documents are available for $75 per CD, after purchase of the printed bidding documents. Payment is not refundable . Bids from anyone not on the Engineer’s Plan Holders List will not be opened. The owner reserves the right to waive any informalities and to reject any or all bids. Each bidder must deposit with his bid, security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. All bidders must be licensed General Contractors as required by the Contractor’s Licensing Act of 1994 of the General Assembly of the State of Tennessee and qualified for the type of construction being bid upon. Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the contract, Section 3, Segregated Facility, Section 109 and E.O. 11246. No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of sixty (60) days after closing time scheduled for the receipt of bids.
