Cedar Avenue, McKenzie, TN 38201, until 11 a.m. (Local Time) on Tuesday, August 13, 2024, and then at said office opened and publicly read aloud. The allotted time for construction is 630 calendar days. Bids from anyone not on the Engineer’s Plan Holders List will not be opened. It is the sole responsibility of all plan holders, whether they have received digital downloads or paper copies of the plans and specifi cations, to periodically to check for Addenda which may have been issued. All bidders must be licensed General Contractors as required by the Contractor’s Licensing Act of 1994 of the General Assembly of the State of Tennessee and be qualifi ed for the type of construction being bid upon. This project is being supported with American Rescue Plan Act, Coronavirus State and Local Recovery Fund grant funding. Therefore, certain restrictions and other federal requirements attach to this opportunity. Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the contract, Section 3, Segregated Facility, Section 109 and E.O. 11246. The Copeland “Anti-Kickback” Act is also applicable, which prohibits workers on construction contracts from giving up wages that they are owed. Contractor’s must not appear on Sam.gov disbarment list. A detailed listing of all subcontractors shall be provided by the Bidder. In accordance with the Contract Documents, documentation that the prospective General Contractor and its subcontractors meet minimum qualifi cations shall be provided and submitted. Subcontractors must also not appear on Sam. gov disbarment list. Mark-ups on subcontractor work or Cost Plus Overhead will be disallowed for reimbursement. A bid bond or certifi ed check for fi ve percent (5%) of the total bid amount must accompany each bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance and payment bonds in the amount of his bid. The owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. This project is being supported in whole or in part, by federal award number 21.027 awarded to the City of Henderson, TN by the U.S. Department of the Treasury.
