McKENZIE, Tenn. - Graveside funeral services for Carolyn Rebecca Highfill are on Sunday, May 17, 2026, at 1 p.m., at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in McKenzie, Tennessee.

Carolyn Rebecca Highfill, 94, of McKenzie, died at The Waters of McKenzie on Thursday, May 14, 2026. Born in McKenzie on January 21, 1932, to the late Willie Rodgers and Doris Mann, Carolyn was a hardworking woman who dedicated 30 years to factory work. She was also a devoted wife who shared 77 years of marriage with her beloved husband, William “Bill” Highfill. 

She is survived by her son, Roger Highfill; two grandchildren, Rina (Steve) Prosser and Mona (Steve) Cude; five great-grandchildren, Colby (Hannah Burnett) Prosser, Wendy (Zach) Wallace, Shelby (Andrew) Shankle, Luke (Nora) Prosser, and Abbey (Cole Williams) Prosser; and eight great-great-grandchildren, Boone Shankle, Nora Wallace, Sawyer Hampton, Haylen Shankle, Janie Wallace, Reid Burnett, Miles Wallace, and Slade Williams. 

She was preceded in death by her mother and father; her beloved husband, William “Bill” Highfill; her brother, Joel Olds; her sister-in-law, Marion Olds; and her daughter-in-law, Martha Highfill.
