McKENZIE, TENN. -        Funeral services for Chester L. Ard are Thursday, July 17, 2025, at 1 p.m. at McKenzie Church of Christ. The family will receive friends on Thursday at the church from 11:00 a.m. until service time. Interment will follow at Carroll Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Ard, 76, died at The Waters of McKenzie on July 11, 2025. He is a member of the McKenzie Church of Christ. Worked 30 years for Ford Motor Company, St. Louis, Missouri, and during retirement, he worked at the McKenzie Wastewater Department. He was born on November 17, 1948, in Salem, Missouri to Delbert and Dormilee White Ard.
He is survived by his wife Victoria Ard of McKenzie, five daughters Shari (Danny ) Chapman of Lavitee, MO, Kelly (Dave) Ford of Fenton, MO, Letha (Bill) Groom of Lake Wells, FL, Jo (Be`la) Bicskei of Rapid City, SD and Bethany Grey of Johnson City, Tenn., a sister, Kathy Caltry of New York, two brothers, Dale Ard of Herber Springs, Ark. and Ronnie (Pat) Ard of St. Charles, Missouri, 13 grandchildren Naomi (Jason) Collison, William Grooms, IV, Amanda (Harry) Hanson, Justin (Daniel) Chapman, Nicholas (Alex) Chapman, Amanda (Alex) Chapman, Kirsten (Joe), Rosemary Ford, Kaitlin Ford, James Grey, Wolf Grey, Shawn Ard and Anna Abeling and twelve great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Sandy K. Ard, and a brother, Jerry Ard.
