Dem Cookiez Wins at Huntingdon Competition

One of McKenzie’s newest businesses celebrated a big win on Saturday, July 6 at a nearby food competition. Dem Cookiez owner and baker Lacey Prater won Second Place and a $500 prize in the Chesoli’s Race for Taste Competition in downtown Huntingdon. Her green watermelon cookie with pink icing and chocolate chip “seeds” delighted the judges’ eyes and taste buds.
