James William  Moon Jr.

Mr. James William  Moon Jr. , 47, of Hollow Rock died Friday, August 1, 2025 at Huntingdon Health and Rehabilitation Center.

James was born May 2, 1978, in Searcy, Arkansas, to James William Moon Sr. and Linda Hill.

James is preceded in death by his father, James William Moon Sr. of Independence, Missouri and his brother, Jeff Petitjean of Casey, Illinois; grandparents, Cecil Allen and Irene Allen of Camden, Tennessee.

He is survived by his mother, Linda Hill of Hollow Rock, Tennessee; step-father, Charles “Rip” Hill; one sister, Donna Dawson of Hollow Rock, Tennessee; one aunt, Lea Fore of Mooresburg, Tennessee;  two nephews, Jason Quinn and David Quinn, both of Henry, Tennessee; two nieces, Tara Petitjean and Christina Carse, both of Illinois; two great-nieces, Kayleigh Quinn and Delilah Quinn, both of Buchanan, Tennessee;  three cousins, Billy Fore, Toby Fore and Natasha Fore, all three of Mooresburg, Tennessee.
