Josie Rivera, 1963 – 2026

Mrs. Josie Rivera, 63, of Huntingdon, Tenn. died Thursday, March 26, 2026 at Alive Hospice in Nashville.

Memorial services will be conducted on Sunday, March 29, 2026 at 2 p.m. at Huntingdon Church of God of Prophecy 268 High Street Huntingdon, TN 38344.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 10 a.m. until time of the service at the church.

Mrs. Rivera was born March 9, 1963 in Quanah, Texas to the late Juan Florez and Susana Barrientoz Reynolds, who survives. She worked in Retail Management and was a translator for the School System. She was also preceded in death by her step father, Leon Reynolds, a sister, Victoria Galvan and a brother, Victor Florez.

She is survived by her husband Paul Rivera, her mother, Susana Reynolds both of Huntingdon, a daughter, Lori Gockley (Anthony) of McKenzie, three sisters Debbie Reynolds of Lexington, Cathy Cunningham of Huntingdon and Gracie Newbill (Ricky) of McKenzie and a grandson, Gabriel Laws.
