Mrs. Linda Simmons, 78, of Hollow Rock, Tennessee died Friday, March 28, 2025 at her home.

Funeral services are in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home on Monday, March 31, 2025 at 2:00 PM with Bro. Joey Simmons officiating. Burial will follow in Pisgah Cemetery in Hollow Rock.

The family will receive friends in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home on Monday from 11:00 AM until time of the service.

Pallbearers who will serve are Carl Jernigan, Scott Morris, Corey Morris, Jeffrey Brink, Zach Barker, and Andy Travis.

Mrs. Simmons was born June 15, 1946 in Jackson, Tennessee, to the late James Lester and Oma Lee Scott Ellis. She was a draftsman for Plumley Rubber. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Ethan Jernigan, two brothers, Scotty and Leslie, and her beloved grandmother, Nancy Ellis.

She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Bailey Simmons, two daughters, Tracy Jernigan (Carl) of Hollow Rock, Jackie Morris (Scott) of Murfreesboro, a son Joey Simmons (Monica) of Hollow Rock, six grandchildren, Kristie Brink, Corey Morris, both of Murfreesboro, Carly Barker (Zach) Bailee Jernigan, both of Hollow Rock, A.J. Belyew (Matthew) of Big Sandy, and Bryce Travis (Andy) of Camden. She also leaves six great-grandchildren, Jeffrey, Drew, Reed, Emory, Laegan, and Wyatt.
