Mrs. Lurlye B Thompson, 82, of Paris, Tennessee died Thursday, March 13, 2025 at Henry County Health and Rehabilitation.

Funeral services were Monday, March 17, 2025 at Lakeside Christian Fellowship Church at 2920 US 641  Paris, Tennessee with Reverend Pamela E. Hughes officiating.  Interment will follow in Memorial Cemetery in Paris.

The family will receive friends at Lakeside Fellowship Christian Church on Monday from 12:00 noon until time of service.

Mrs. Thompson was born August 24, 1942 in Paris, Tennessee to the late Seth T. Brown and late Blanche McFarland Brown. She was married on February 27, 1982 to Jackie Thompson who preceded her in death on April 30, 2004.  She and her late husband were among the founding members of Lakeside Christian Fellowship Church and very active with their church family.  She retired from Joe Mahan Ford where she worked as a bookkeeper/clerk for 29 years.  Other than her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by a brother, Seth Thomas Brown, Jr.

She is survived by a daughter, Suzi (Mark) McFadden of Paris, a son, Bob (Addie Lou) Chase of Huntingdon; two sisters, Earlene Boyd, and Verlene Phifer, both of Paris; granddaughters, Mandy (Trevor) Haywood, Lezley (Colin) Crossno, Brooke McFadden, Hannah (Tucker) Lowe, Katie Lou (Austin) Pritchard; great-grandchildren, Reagan (Joe), Will, Jack, Hazel, and Wes.  She also leaves two step-children, Jenny (Mike) Underwood, and Jason Thompson, both of Paris; along with grandsons Justin (Kaylyn), and Jordan; and great-granddaughters Evelyn and Ashlyn.
