Funeral services for Mary Frances Barnett are on Sunday, October 5, 2025, at 2 p.m. at Brummitt McKenzie Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 5, 2025, at 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. Interment is at Seminary Cemetery.

 Mrs. Barnett, 92, died Thursday, October 2, 2025, at West TN Health Care of Milan. She was the head cashier at Kroger. She was born in McKenzie on July 6, 1933, to John Thomas and Mattie Lee Grooms Story.

 She is survived by her children, Brenda (Mark) Morgan of Bruceton, Patricia (Jimmy) Love of McKenzie, Michelle Fall of Paris, and Michael (Teresa) Barnett of McKenzie, a sister, Betty Jean Story of McKenzie, 14 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren.

 She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Paul Everett Barnett and brothers Willie “Bill” Story and Edward Thomas Story.
