From the Jan 21, 2025 e-EditionMrs. Mary Jo Garrison, 84 of Huntingdon, died Tuesday, January 14, 2025 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Huntingdon, Tennessee.
Memorial services will be held at the First Pentecostal Church in Huntingdon at a later date.
Mrs. Mary Jo Garrison was born on March 3, 1940 in Nashville to the late Paul Irie Etheridge and Mildred Alene (Matthews) Etheridge. She was the proud owner of an original Nashville Lower Broad Honky Tonk Bar, The Music City Lounge. She was preceded in death by her son, Michael Scott, Farmer.
She is survived by two daughters, Tammy Collins (Jim) of Hattiesburg, Mississippi and Lori Lehew of Hollow Rock, Tennessee, she also leaves behind seven grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, and her faithful furry companion Lera.
