McLEMORESVILLE, Tenn. - Graveside funeral services for Ray Hudgins are Friday, February 14, 2025, at McLemoresville Cemetery at 1:30 p.m. The family will receive friends on Friday, 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. At 1:00 p.m. we will leave the funeral home for the graveside service.
 
Mr. Hudgins, 77, died Sunday, February 9, 2025, at his residence.
He was born on January 24, 1948, in McKenzie to Olin and Lorene Coleman Hudgins. He was a member of Union Academy Baptist Church and an Army Veteran serving with the 101st Airborne Division, 1st Battalion, 16th Infantry and the 1st Infantry Division.
 
He is survived by his children, Bert (Lizz) Hudgins of Greenfield, Matt (Brandy Greer) Hudgins of McKenize, and Chad (Jolene) Hudgins of Paris, a sister, Doris Davis of McKenzie and brother, Jimmy Hudgins of McKenzie, seven grandchildren, Colin (Jennifer Hames) Hudgins, Emily (Dashawn Iloff) Hudgins, Elizabeth (Bryson Johnson) Hudgins, Aiden Gonzales, Andrew (Alivia) Hudgins, Riley Hudgins and Kassidy Hudgins and two great-grandchildren, Dashawn Jr. and Bryanna
 
He is preceded in death by his parents, his wives, Ann Hudgins and Julia Ward Hudgins, four sisters Reni Flood, Helen Shell, Mary Sue Cook, and Linda Jackson and one brother, Elroy Hudgins.
