Robert (Bob) Wyatt

Mr. Robert (Bob) Wyatt, 95, died January 8, 2025 at his home, surrounded by his family.

Funeral services are 11 a.m. Monday January 13, 2025 at the Huntingdon Church of Christ. Interment will follow at Twin Oaks Community Cemetery. Brother Chase Sanders officiating.

Honoring him as pallbearers will be Ryan Wyatt, Jamie Miller, Cody Wyatt, Chase Sanders, Jeff Pendergrass and Derek Luther.

The family will receive friends on  Monday January 13, 2025 from 9 a.m.  until time of service at 11 a.m. at Huntingdon Church of Christ.

Mr. Wyatt was born April 29, 1929 to the late Willie C. Wyatt and Mittie Lou Everett Wyatt. He was the youngest of 7 children. He worked for 29 years selling insurance with Interstate Life and Gulf Life Insurance Companies. He was a people person and loved his clients. He enjoyed being outside and was able to mow his yard until he was 95. He loved God, his church, and his family. He was a member of the Huntingdon Church of Christ since 1956 and served as a deacon for many years.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Shirley Bridges Wyatt; his siblings, Louise Redden, Leland Wyatt, Maudine Williams, Evelyn Everett, Billie Hampton, and Jimmy Wyatt.

He is survived by his children: Tony (Pam) Wyatt, Renee Miller, and Michelle (Phillip) Sanders, all of Huntingdon, Tennessee. He leaves behind five grandchildren; Ryan (Dana) Wyatt, Mallory (Jeff) Pendergrass, Chase (Katie) Sanders, all of Huntingdon, Tennessee; Jamie (Rachal) Miller of Lebanon, Tennessee; Cody (Paige) Wyatt of Jackson, Tennessee; and a special “grandson” Zack (Kaley) Wallace of Knoxville, Tennessee. He also leaves behind his four great-granddaughters: Rosalie Miller,  Cora Miller, Farrah Wyatt, and Harper Sanders.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Huntingdon Church of Christ, 18900 West Main Street, Huntingdon, Tennessee 38344, for the community food giveaway or to the Carroll County Carl Perkins Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse, 50 Stone Ridge Cove Huntingdon, Tennessee 38344.
