Robert Charles "Skip" Wolfe
HUNTINGDON, Tenn. - Mr. Robert Charles “Skip” Wolfe, 85, of Huntingdon, Tennessee, died Wednesday, April 10, 2024, at his home.

Funeral services will be private for the family.

   Instead of flowers, the family asks that memorials be directed to your chosen charity.

Mr. Wolfe was born January 29, 1939, in New Haven, Missouri, to the late Roy Christian and Viola Myers Wolfe. A former college basketball player, teacher, and coach, he was inducted into the Memphis State University Hall of Fame, the Missouri Sports Hall of Fame, and the Carroll County Hall of Fame. He was a self-employed contractor and Palmer Shelter United Methodist Church member. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Wayne Wolfe, and a brother-in-law, Arnold Seitter.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Janice Smith Wolfe, four daughters, Sondra Dawkins (David) of Oakland, Tennessee, Marsha Johns (Brandon) of Huntingdon, Tennessee, Trista Murphy (Jimmy) of Lakeland, Tennessee, and Charla Wolfe, of Huntingdon, Tennessee, two sisters, Marilyn Seitter, and Ruth Peirick (John) both of New Haven, Missouri, and a brother, Roger Wolfe (Mary Lou) of Cordova, Tennessee. He also leaves seven grandchildren, Justin Johns (Rachel Lee), Alexandra Rudner (Jonathan), Couri Williams (Chris), Lawson Johns (Rachel Anne), Anthony Wolfe, Dylan Murphy, and Reno Wolfe, and six great-grandchildren, Wyatt Johns, Hazel Rudner, Easton Johns, Everly Johns, Madilyn Johns, and Zachary Rudner.
