Robert was preceded in death by his parents, “R.H.” Bob Owen and Darreen Shaw Owen, and his brother, Alan Craig Owen.

A lifelong farmer, Robert also had a passion for flying as a pilot. He was an avid hunter and fisherman who found great joy in the outdoors. In his younger years, he loved playing basketball for the Gleason Bulldogs and spent time drag racing, both of which reflected the energy and spirited nature he carried into the rest of his life. He proudly served as a Mason and was a member of the Board of the Bank of Gleason. More than anything, he loved spending time with family and friends—whether in person or on the phone—sharing stories, laughter, and wisdom.

Robert will be remembered for his strong work ethic, his love for his family, and the many lives he touched throughout his years.
