Mr. Roger Hollowell, 86, of Yuma, Tennessee died Wednesday, January 1, 2025 at Huntingdon Health and Rehab.

Funeral services are Friday, January 3, 2025, at 1:00 P.M. at Yuma Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Tim Maness, Bro. Ryan Bivens, and Bro. Philip Halter officiating. Interment will follow in New Hope Cemetery.

The family will receive friends in the Cherrywood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Thursday from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and on Friday at Yuma Missionary Baptist Church from 9:00 A.M. until time of service.

Pallbearers who will serve are Jason Yundt, Jared Dunbar, Jacob Todd, Jared Mitchell, Ricky Pritchard, Michael Todd, Lynn Breeden, and Gary Todd.

Mr. Hollowell was born December 21, 1938, in Yuma to the late Willie B. Hollowell and Kate Orr Hollowell. He was a farmer. He was a deacon and Sunday school teacher at Yuma Missionary Baptist Church. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Regina Pritchard, and a sister, Jan Collins.

He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Sue Hollowell, a daughter, Teresa Todd (Michael) of Yuma, a sister, Mary Cowan (Bill) of Murray, Kentucky; six grandchildren, Carter Todd (Trish), Carrie Yundt (Jason), Julie Dunbar (Jared), Jessica Todd (Jacob), Jamie Mitchell (Jared), Caitlan Todd, and nine great-grandchildren, Leo, Christian, Ian, Colin, Lottie, Holden, Jemma, Drake, and Jaycee.
