Funeral service for Ronnie Earl “Ron” McCadams, age 76 of Milan, are at 12 PM on January 21, 2025, at the New Hopewell Church of Medina with burial to follow in the Centerville Cemetery near Medina. Visitation with the family will be held on Tuesday from 10 AM – 12 PM at the church.

Ron was born on September 3, 1948, in McKenzie to Reuben and Retha Vancleave McCadams. He retired from ARJ in Jackson as a maintenance technician and he had previously worked for Procter and Gamble and A O Smith (later Tower Automotive) before working for ARJ. Ron served his country during the Vietnam War serving in the Marine Corp, and he was a member of the New Hopewell Church of Medina.

Ron is survived by his wife Linda McCadams, three children Shannon McCadams (Suzie) of Milan, Clint McCadams of Atwood and Melanie Kissell (Corey) of Halls, three brothers Hansel McCadams (Teresa) of Paris, Tansel McCadams (Carmi) of Paris and Van McCadams (Sue) of McKenzie, four grandchildren, Katie Kissell of Halls, Kristen McCadams of Camden, Ella McCadams of Atwood and Austin Kissell (Jocelyn) of Brownsville and one great-grandson, Ellison Kissell of Brownsville.

Ron is preceded in death by his parents, Reuben and Retha Vancleave McCadams and a brother, Darrell McCadams. 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to New Hopewell Church of Medina (PO Box 158, Medina, TN 38355), The Milan Mustard Seed (PO Box 634, Milan, TN 38358) or to Captain Jack Holland Detachment 735 Marine Corp League (228 McIntosh Dr, Jackson, TN 38305).
