Superintendent Issues Update on Threat Against MSSD School

McKENZIE (November 20, 2025) — Thursday afternoon, McKenzie Special School District Superintendent Dr. Justin Barden released a statement regarding a potential verbal threat made by a McKenzie High School student. Upon investigation, Homeland Security determined there was no credible threat to the safety of students or to McKenzie High School.
