Thomas “Tommy” Matthew Riggs

MURFREESBORO — Mr. Thomas “Tommy” Matthew Riggs, 44, of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, died Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at his home.

A memorial visitation will be held in the Cherrywood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Sunday from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM with a service beginning at 2:00 PM.

Mr. Riggs was born January 6, 1982, in Paris, TN to Billy Joe Riggs and Virginia Faye Nelson Pruitt. He worked in construction. He was preceded in death by a grandchild, Xylah Hutch.

He is survived by his wife, Kessa Riggs, mother Faye Pruitt, of Pensacola, Florida, two daughters, Kaylee Riggs (Devontavius) of Jackson, Tennessee, Karter Riggs of Smyrna, Tennessee, a son, Stone Riggs, of Smyrna, Tennessee and a sister, Kim Pinner (John) of Henderson, Tennessee.
