Vance Junior Harrington, 66, died September 16, 2024, in Greenfield, Tennessee. He was born on August 19, 1958 to Bobby Vance Harrington and Martha Louise Powell.

Vance is survived by his loving wife, Cynthia J.J. Johnson—Harrington of Huntingdon; sister-in-law, Petrice B. Johnson of Huntingdon; three sisters, Angelica Gibson of Greenfield, Lisa Longford of Union City, and Beatrice Harrington of Greenfield; and a host of nieces and nephews, Kendra Joyce, and two children.

Vance proudly served in the United States Navy as an aviation electronic technician, holding the Petty Officer Second Class (AT2) rank. His commitment to excellence was evident in his military career, where he was respected by his peers and superiors alike, and he received an honorable discharge for his services.

After his military service, Vance was an active member of the Leach Seventh Day Adventist Church. He enjoyed being a Greeter while using his walker. His spirituality was a cornerstone of his life, and he often shared his journey to God Almighty with those around him. In his leisure time, he enjoyed working on various projects with his hands, further showcasing his skill and creativity.
