Verlene (Nanny) Arnold

McKENZIE, Tenn. - Funeral services for Verlene (Nanny) Arnold are at Brummitt McKenzie Funeral Home on January 27, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. Visitation is at the funeral home on Sunday from 2:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m. and Monday 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, McKenzie. 

 Mrs. Arnold, 98, a homemaker and caregiver, died at her residence on Friday, January 24, 2025. She was born on September 12, 1926, in Chesterfield, Tenn.

 She is preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, William Lee Arnold; her parents, Will G. Scott and Margaret Ester Nowell; two sons, Jimmie Arnold and Billy Arnold; three grandchildren and four brothers, Floyd Scott, JD Scott, Elmer Scott, and Don Scott.

 She is survived by three daughters, Judy Dunning of McKenzie, Nancy Sollis of Lexington, and Peggy (Tim) Hart of Henry, four grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and ten great-great-grandchildren.
