War Eagles Edge Yellowjackets for First Win, Greenfield Girls Ride Early Lead

ATWOOD (December 16) — West Carroll High School hosted Greenfield Tuesday for a pair of basketball contests. The Lady War Eagles were unable to overcome a big first-quarter deficit despite playing Greenfield even for the final three frames, and the Lady Yellowjackets took the win, 69-54. The War Eagles shook off a double-digit halftime deficit with a monster third quarter and claimed a 47-44 win, their first of the young season.
