Weakley County Schools recognizes February 2026 Feature Teachers, two educators whose dedication, professionalism and commitment to student growth make a lasting impact across our district. The news release stated, "This month, we are honored to celebrate Lauren Mitchell, speech-language pathologist serving Gleason and Greenfield Schools, representing the PreK-5th grade band, and Evan Jarrett, history teacher at Dresden Middle School, representing the 6-12th grade band. Both educators exemplify the heart of teaching through meaningful connections, strong relationships and a clear sense of purpose."
