HUNTINGDON,  Tenn. — Funeral services for Wilfred “Tony” Coburn are Monday, March 23, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Brummitt McKenzie Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 22, 2026, from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m., and again on Monday from 10 a.m. until the service hour. Interment will follow at Everett’s Chapel Cemetery.
Mr. Coburn, 87, died on Thursday, March 19, 2026, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Huntingdon. He retired from Bellsouth, where he served as a district sales manager. He was also a member of the Coast Guard. While living in Florida, he was active in the Kiwanis Club and Toastmasters. After relocating to Tennessee, he joined the Elks Lodge.
He was born June 9, 1938, in Wheelwright, Kentucky, to the late Leroy Coburn and Helen Robinson Sweeney.
He is survived by his two children, Steven (Kerry Ann) Coburn of Lake Mary, Florida, and Jennifer (Stephen) Vinson of Cedar Grove; two sisters, Dolly Ramirez and Shaun Santoro, both of Florida; and three grandchildren, Brian (Lindsey) Coburn, Gabi Vinson, and Gunner Vinson.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Linda Looney Coburn; one sister, Barbara Judd; and one brother, Jack Sweeney.
