CLARKSBURG (February 17) — The Clarksburg High School Lady Rockets hosted West Carroll Monday in the first round of the District 13A Girls Basketball Tournament. Clarksburg had the lead early, but the Lady War Eagles took control and pulled away in the fourth quarter for a 64-44 victory and a spot in the semifinals.

McKENZIE (February 17) — The McKenzie High School Lady Rebels hosted Houston County Monday for a District 12A Girls Basketball Tournament semifinal contest. The Lady Rebels dominated the second quarter and coasted to a 48-31 win and a spot in the championship game.
