Drug Violation — On February 26, Deputy Dillon Crowe noticed a car parked on the side of Ephesus Church Rd. with a driver sleeping in the driver’s seat. Upon a welfare check, the driver was identified as Drew Autry, 31, of Hollow Rock. Autry gave consent to search the vehicle where a glass pipe with white residue was found in the driver side door panel.

PARIS (March 3) — A Henry County woman has died as a result of injuries she sustained after being struck by a van on Monday morning. The victim was crossing the road at the marked and lighted crosswalk located on the south end of Hospital Circle near West Tennessee Healthcare Henry County Hospital (formerly Henry County Medical Center).

The host Lady War Eagles went down to the wire in the consolation game before Halls took the win, 45-42. In another thriller, Middleton claimed the championship over Humboldt, 46-43.
