Drug Violation — On February 26, Deputy Dillon Crowe noticed a car parked on the side of Ephesus Church Rd. with a driver sleeping in the driver’s seat. Upon a welfare check, the driver was identified as Drew Autry, 31, of Hollow Rock. Autry gave consent to search the vehicle where a glass pipe with white residue was found in the driver side door panel.

Evading Arrest — On February 25, Deputy Daniel Thomas was in Cedar Grove when he observed a vehicle driving oddly. When he tried to initiate blue lights, the car accelerated in speed rather than stopping. After a chase ensued the vehicle eventually had to come to a stop and the driver surrendered. The driver was Christopher McCaslin, 44, of Cedar Grove. McCaslin had a revoked license for a previous DUI.

Violation of Protection Order — On February 25, the victim came to the Sheriff’s Office and reported that Daniel Parker, 28, of Yuma, had been texting and leaving voice messages on the victim’s cell phone. Daniel Parker had an order of protection on him starting on February 1 for him to stay away from the victim, but on 2-15-25 he attempted to contact her several times. He was issued a warrant for his arrest.
