November 5, 2024

Forgery — On October 24, according to a report made by Officer Angie Barker, she received a call from Sgt. Drake Whitworth, who is the School Resource Officer at the Huntingdon Primary School. Sgt Whitworth stated that he had a woman dressed in all black (later identified as Ayanna Hicks, 32), enter the building with a friend in black and red clothing (Ashley Nelson.) Sgt. Whitworth stated that they approached the visitor sign-in sheet without speaking; signed the visitor sign-in sheet and the desk secretary asked if they needed help. Hicks stated she was there to see her kids and gave her kids names. The desk secretary was aware of a foster care situation and called their foster parent and learned that there was a no contact order in place. When the officers tried to approach the vehicle, Hicks drove off and left her friend. She also had signed the sheet with the foster parent name, which is forgery. Investigator Joey Hedge located Hicks, and she was taken into custody.
